Hedge Bindweed (Calystegia sepium), a herbacious perennial that twines around other plants in a counter clockwise direction (hence the Flanders & Swann song). With bindweeds, the shape of the leaf-like structures (bractioles) at the back of the flower are key to making an identification. On the photo right the inner 'leaves' can be seen in between the outer 'leaves'.
